The LCLL is a research led learning community, reflecting the leadership learning landscape of London, nationally and internationally. Over 5000 members, associates, event participants friends and colleagues have so far attended our many and varied conversations, seminars, lectures, launches and celebrations. Since the National College started in 2001, we have had 4027 participants complete NPQH

Why are London schools achieving better results than the other regions of the UK? – national teaching schools and partnerships are building on London’s success
Vivienne Porritt, Executive Director, LCLL appeared on BBC Radio 4 Today programme with presenter John Humphrys, on Saturday 28th January.
League tables of more than 3,300 secondary schools published by the Department for Education on 26th January, show that London's education system outshone the rest of the country with 61% of London's pupils achieving 5 or more A* - C GCSE grades compared to 58.3 % across the rest of the country and nearly 1 in 3 of every A* or A grade.
