This summer school is for:
Inspectors, professional and technical staff working in the field of educational evaluation and accountability, both in the UK and internationally; e.g. school inspectors, Regional Schools Commissioners, senior (system) leaders involved in (the development of) peer review, and school evaluation. Previous participants describe the summer school as: "The course really dovetailed well with my professional development needs and is so pertinent to my current role. Great to have the theoretical underpinning." "The thinking about purpose and dimensions of evaluation and governance and particularly validity and school effectiveness were fundamental. It was so helpful to be able to set inspection and school evaluation in a theoretical framework, backed up with the literature. In one word: ‘fabulous’." |
